Ipod classic video review
Posted by Bird in iPods
With 80GB or 160GB of storage, iPod classic gives your music and video room to move.
It also has plenty of energy (up to 40 hours of audio playback), good looks (a sleek, all-metal design), and a great personality (a brand-new interface with Cover Flow). In other words, iPod classic makes an ideal companion. Read the rest of this entry »
Apple iPhone 8GB Cell Phone

The iPhone brings together several features of the iPod, digital camera, smartphones and even portable computing to one device, with a widescreen display and an innovative input method.
Featuring a new input technology called “Multi-Touch” the iPhone features only a single “home” button, and is controlled by sliding a finger across its touch-sensitive 3.5-inch, 160 pixel-per-inch display.
The iPhone, which runs Mac OS X, has full iTunes integration and can also seamlessly sync data with a desktop, including music and videos from iTunes, contacts, calendars, photos, notes, bookmarks and email accounts.
The 11.6-millimeter thick device also sports a 2-megapixel camera, headset jack, 3.5-millimeter audio jack, SIM tray, a “sleep-wake” switch, speaker, microphone input and an iPod dock connector. The quad-band GSM + EDGE phone also has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 capabilities. Jobs noted 3G capabilities will come in the future.
Three smart sensors also help control the iPhone’s behavior. A proximity sensor shuts down the display and touchscreen when the phone is held to the ear. An ambient light sensor automatically adjusts screen brightness to save power. Meanwhile, an accelerometer lets the phone know whether to display in portrait or landscape mode.

Apple iPod shuffle armband
Posted by Bird in MP3 & Media Players, iPods
This armband is very comfortable, inobtrusive, and practical. I use it with my iPod Shuffle while I run. It does a great job protecting the device from moisture and the elements, keeps the excess headphone cord out of the way, and allows for decent access to the iPod controls in use.

When I was searching for armbands, I was concerned that this one would be subpar, because it is half the price of almost every other Shuffle armband (and also the picture is not very flattering). On the contrary, it is definitely a quality piece of equipment. It far surpasses the Apple armband, since it protects the iPod, has a space to gather up the excess cord, and is SO much cheaper. In fact, the Apple armband (and probably all the other ones) is a complete ripoff. I would even suggest that the Tune Belt armband is overpriced for what it is. That being said, it’s basically the cheapest one you’ll find (that’s specifically made for the Shuffle).

Waterproof Housing - iPod Nano
Posted by Bird in MP3 & Media Players, iPods
I love swimming indoors, but have become bored with the monotony of swimming lap after lap after lap. I purchased this product in attempt to get excited about swimming laps again, and to get back into the pool. I must say, it has been a huge success. Swimming to my favorite upbeat, fast-paced tunes has greatly increased my motivation to get into the pool, and to stay longer! I have been just tucking it into my swimsuit and it stays in there. It has proven to be 100% waterproof, and has protected my precious ipod nano. The volume is good. I’m still fidgeting with the headphones..
